Just mounted the Zumo on the bars and looking for a place to power it from (1150GSA)
There is a power socket on the beak which seems to be always live but I'd prefer a switched source around cockpit if available. Any easy to get to connections?

Secondly, is there any way of getting rid of the miles of cable that is attached to the Zumo mount apart from chopping it off. Can you get into the mount and just take a + and - from inside for power?

Cheers

much easier to just wire straight to the battery, zumo lead has an inline fuse. cable tie the cable for neatness to the frame.
the zumo does not draw much current but you wouldnt want to leave it on the bike anyway :thumb
