I've gor the cradle and removable power supply set-up from GPSW.

I.E cradle, QPAC with short lead and plug, hard wired socket on long lead to battery.

The cradle etc is fine, as is the hard wired power-cable - all set up fine.

What I can't figure out is the best place to leave the socket part of the power supply that is fitted permanently so that it doesn't interfere with the rest of the controls while still being easy accessible for inserting and removing the plug.

Anyone been there and done that?

hard wired!

Permanent connection is always best.
If I can help out have a run down for a cuppa and I'd be happy to oblige (won't take long)

Sherpa ;)

I've fitted a Touratech cockpit cover with on-board socket, simple, plus it improves the look of the bike.

Hi John

That's a generous offer.

I'll see if my set up works and see if the old man can give me a hand - that failing - I may take you up on it sometime in the new year! :beerjug:
