Keje, that picture is very wrong. I know since i've seen it from the inside.
My head mechanic at BMW didn't know either what it was for and he did the work for me. This way i was sure my warranty would remain valid.

The main pipe ends in a chambre and gasses are forced back trough the middle section after which it is channeled into the two pipes that lead to the exit.

Sure you can use the pic.
Cant answer for the legal publicity issues from BMW although, perehaps its to early for them to go public with their new bike.
I beleave its a secret until they introduce it on the market during 2005.
