The last one looked like good fun and it looks like a great bunch of lads signed up already for this one!

I'd guess this will follow the strict format of a Reci... i.e
- absolutely no route planned?
- Completely following our nose?
- Plenty of U turns at dead ends?
- 5 star lunch (the first shop we pass around lunchtime)
- Pillion un-friendly
- Guaranteed to get soaked with sweat while pulling 1/4 ton of bike out of mud/ditch/stream?
- Certanty of scratched crash bars?

Actually, reading that put a grin on my face that just won't go away.


I can't feckin wait either.

It'll be north Cork and maybe into Limerick, I agree with Padge that yer bike might have the odd new scratch but so long as it doesn't get too slippery and ya don't get over excited it'll all be manageable and guaranteed fun.


Do not wear yer best Hein Gerick.... It after all a RECI...

I'll post some pics of the expected terrain/route??? asap.

Of course any bike will do, it's just more fun/challenging on a GS. How does the Sunday the 24th sound ?
By then I'll have a good few places to check out, just remember it's a reci as Padge so eloquently described.
