PRICE OF FITTED TYRES

New price...

Just had both my front and rear tyres replaced, stuck with tourances though, cost Ride in/Ride out was £170.37, an increase of £6.51 on my last set. Done at Michedever Tyres near Winchester.

Front was £59 Ex VAT,
Rear was £72 Ex VAT,
£7.00 per wheel for ride in/out,
then VAT

Did 12556 on last pair could proberly have done another thousand on front but rear was at 2mm.

I had a Metzeler Tourance 90/90-21 fitted to the front of my airhead this morning by Watling Tyres, Rainham Road, Gillingham (01634-850857) for £62.46 inc VAT and tyre disposal. That price included a 30% discount for being a BMW Club member (but they didn't need to see the proof).

Micheldever... today.
rear tourance... H rated... £92.34, ride in/out, balancing, valve etc.
They never had any Tourances last week but were expecting 1 H rated and I think about 12 V rated.
Today the H rated came in and that's the one I got fitted.
The V rated still hadn't arrived as of midday. I think they may charge a couple of pounds more for the V's.
