I suspect this may be an easy one for pc boffins. When I try to print pages from websites, the paper comes out with a largish margin on the left side and a few words missing from any script on the right side (ie, not printing in the middle).
How do i correct this please ???

Thx all.

Somewhere in the installed printer software there will be the facility to 'shrink to fit page' or some equivalent phrase, which should be selected. Having said that and in my experience with a few different printers, they all seemed to handle direct printing from web pages awkwardly, some requiring a total resetting of the page margins and layout.

You may need to experiment a bit if the instructions aren't clear, so 'print preview' and 'Page setup' will become familiar to you......:)

+1 to the above, and yes, it's all a bit random - some pages work, some don't.

You can try printing landscape too if it's really bad.

Tried printing one particular page in Landscape and the Bastid still wont work.i guess it may just be that particular page eh ??

This is not so much a printer problem, more a 'feature' of Internet Explorer.

If you change to using Firefox as your internet browser - www.mozilla.com - you'll find that this problem is resolved. There are also many other advantages in using Firefox but you can read about those on the above link.

Right click on the web page, select 'Print Preview' and in the little box that has most probably defaulted to 'Shrink to Fit' click on drop down menu and select '100%' and then 'print' job done:thumb2 (but you've got to do every time with a lot of websites)
