Or .... or .... You could get yer bike re-mapped ....

Have I mentioned I took my bike to Hilltop .... :nenau

Or maybe spend £475.00 on fuel and just ride the feckin thing?

Do you know something? In all these years that I've frequented bike forums, I've not once seen that in response to someone suggesting a potential purchase.

You sir are a genius and I look forward to your future posts.

DVLA are best for new, unregistered private plates, but the other sites are better for rarer, previously owned plates.:thumb

Both of the plates shown above are available from the DVLA website - regtransfer.co.uk are just making a quick £70 for acting as an unnecessary middleman

It does seem odd that anyone would go to a site like regtransfers without checking the DVLA site first.:nenau

Another good one for sale is R12 BOG!:aidan

It does seem odd that anyone would want a personal plate. Personal reg numbers are the domain of small-minded, narcissistic twats who deserve to be put in a bag and beaten with 2x4's, accompanied in said bag with those who post pictures of their babies on facebook, take selfies, and follow up anything they say with .com.

Stop sitting on the fence !

Personally, I like cherished numbers. It's my money and I'll spend/waste it how I like.

That was funny. But I'd still have one.:pullface

You're just a poor peasant or a tight fisted old git that won't splash the cash for a little bit of fun. You deserve to be put in a bag and beaten with 2x4's :P

They, personal reg's., do serve a useful purpose, you don't have to remember the new number when you change cars and therefore don't loose your car at Tesco when you can't remember where you parked it or the new registration :). Also helpful when using wifes's car for example.

So you pay £80 per transfer fee plus the initial purchase price because you can't remember 6 or 7 digits? If you're elderly and struggle with memory issues, then I grant you that it's maybe money well spent. "Poor" is a relative term I guess. I'll certainly be more impecunious in April when I pick up my new GSA, but I'd rather be poor than have my transport adorned with a 'cherished' plate.

And DavyF, wasting it you are!

Right, on this cold afternoon, got to go and stoke my fire with £50 notes. :D
