Can somebody out there please help with my iTunes problem.
I`m attempting to download iTunes from the Apple store onto the family laptop but when it gets to the end of the download I get a window appearing stating - Windows has found a problem with this file - followed by
Name: iTunesSetup.exe
Publisher: Unkown Publisher

I`ve attempted it 3 times now but each time I get the same problem. It just seems strange that Windows appears not to recognise it.
If anyone can please help I`d be very gratefull as its now driving me mad..:firemth
Many thanks

Hi

I have just downloaded it from Apple using Firefox without any problems.

Try again. If it still fails try downloading something else to determine whether the problem is with your downloading method. Try downloading it from an alternative download site.

Can you please provide more details of the problem. What operating system are you using? Are you logged in with administrator privileges? Are you downloading using Internet Explorer, if so what version? What is the full text of the error message. When does the error occur? It should occur after the file has been downloaded when you click on the program to run it.

Can you download another .exe file and run that without getting the error message?

Steve

Hi Steve, thanks for taking the time to try to help me.
In order to fully answer your question regarding the error message I attempted to download it again tonight and low and behold it worked. I`ve absolutely no idea why...:nenau....as I did nothing any different, but at least I`ve now got iTunes....:clap
Once again Steve many thanks, stay safe...........:thumb
