Problem removing rocker cover bolt rubbers

Hi,

I'm really struggling to remove the rubber seals the rocket cover bolts go through.
I'm trying to remove them to send the covers away for powder coating but can't seem to prise the rubbers away or pull the bolts through.

I'm hoping there is an easy way?

Chuck em in the sink with warm water to warm them up a bit. Then just gently work them thru.

Cut the buggers off and fit new ones. (as happy BMW owners, money is no object)

This was the option I went for after trying the hot water trick , 8 now on order ! Cheers for your help
