Bike's in for a service tomorrow and being a tight Yorkshire bas.... I want to save on the labour where possible. Does anyone know whether or not touratech engine bars need removing to get the rocker covers off? They were a bit of a pig to fit and I'd rather leave them on if there's no need to remove them for the service. Having said that, if they need to come off I'd feel better removing and refitting them myself as I doubt that the apprentice who puts them back will be too concerned about such detail as not crushing the oil cooler pipe! :D

Thanks in advance

Sorry - I don't know if the TT ones need to come off but I found out the hard way that the SW Motech ones do need to as CW Motorcycles charged me £15.00 to remove and refit them for the bike's 1st service. I, perhaps mistakenly, understood this was not necessary when I bought them..

After paying them over £10K for the bike you would have thought the tight f*ckers would've done this for free the first time?
