Not sure if I have just been unlucky or if this is a common problem with my Pyramid hugger fitted to 1200GSA with ESA. The Plastic has cracked beyond repair close to the stainless mounting bracket resulting in the hugger coming into contact with the wheel.

Happened twice with Pyramid huggers to me, i dont use one now.
+1. Fortunately :augie it happened before it was a year old, so they replaced the plastic piece with a glass fibre version. So far so good, but time will tell.

Fit a Mudslinger -fits properly and does what it says on the tin ,takes 5 mins to fit

Missus had 2 break on hers. Both were just plastic.
The third one is fibreglass and has been fine for about a year now

Hugger

hi george would you sell the bracket or i could sell you the fiberglass bit lost the bracket?

Ive still got the hugger which has a little damage just above the bolts , rekon a bit of glass would make good again - make an offer if interested.

mine fell off after 3 months commuting into london.
I thought the road was clear and wondered what i had run over. looked in the mirror and there it was.....
