Problems to receive

Hi

When I transfer data from my GPS unit to an existing mapsource file on the computer, the data from my unit is transferred ok , no problems.

But the data on my existing mapsource file on the computer , for example routes, are automatically deleted afterwards.
But the data transferred from my unit is there.

Does the data transferred fom the GPS unit , over-ride the data on the mapsource file..

I have the Navigator II UNIT

Am I making sense !!

Don't know if you or I are making sense. What I do is import to a new mapsource file and if I need something from the new imported file I cut and paste into my most usefull mapsource file...
