As an aside, overall PC noise levels are often related more to the fans in the chassis, PSU, on the video card and on the motherboard chipset. This is very easily remedied by the purchase of some decent aftermarket cooling kit (like Zalman for video and chipset cooling / Antec for PSU's and 120mm chassis fans etc), which makes a huge difference.
