Looks like a complete nightmare. Be far cheaper to buy a complete bike and turn it into something you want, this one looks like a money pit.

He's only referring to the frame as possibly being from an Iron Head Sporty

IIRC the Evolution Sportster motors appeared in 86 so an X Reg is either 81 or 82 and not as late an Iron Head frame as he thinks
