maybe but its a tracker in my book, a bobber in my mind is a solid rear end with a sprung single tractor seat

Couple of things I am going to have difficulty sourcing or getting made over here is a longer throttle and choke cables

Venhill cables will sort you out no problem:thumb2

The bobber in your picture has low bars so you should be ok with your standard ones. If you do need longer cables then the GS or RT cables are longer than the standard ones.

ok ok ok bobber

I know what you are saying however I do like the parallel lines between the seat and the exhaust.

Done a bit last night and this morning before work stripped the rear end to start to work out the chopping of the sub frame, have some pics later

Ps I hope am not boring you

just having a look at what to do witht the sub frame. It appears to have a twist in it which I will sort out.

Dump the old subframe and make another, sexier one:thumb2

A new subframe incorporating a small seat, stubby rear guard, light and numberplate. Bell mouths on slide dellorto pumper carbs, battery in where the airbox should be. 2-1 exhaust exiting through a modern looking 'stubby' just to one side. De cluttered beach style bars with an old school chrome headlamp:thumb2 'French' the forks and fit some billet yolks if the budget allows

Job done in time for christmas:clap

Looking at that you could fit the battery below the swing arm pivot then fit the shock centrally where the airbox was, a bit of clever fabrication on the swing arm along with the redesigned sub frame and you'd have the start of a slick looking back end, maybe not by christmas, perhaps finished by the new year:thumb2

I'm almost tempted to offer you money to leave the old girl well alone, as I think she looks superb as she is. Bobbers and Flat Trackers are strange terms to me, and seem just another way to ruin and devalue a nice old bike.:rob
