Cover and mounting bracket for Micro DE's ideal for 1200's using Migsel light bar, or any GS with an AUX light bar and the standard DE mounts.

Ah, shit. I just paid £44 + Postage from touratech and yours look better:eek:

Got a set of these and decided to give them a polished finish (years of riding Harleys have left their scars)
Thanks again to Les for great service.

Looking good there Les, especially with a nice satin finnish :thumb2

Just thinking about the little dome head ss bolt though. Would it not be better to match the two bolts together? :nenau

Also 'not wanting to put a dampener on things but' in my recent experience, the 3mm dome head hex key bolt is prone to rounding off very easily. I have since decided it's better to fit the conventional square headed bolt that uses a 4mm key instead. If a second ss bolt where to be used to replace the black one it could IMO look much better.

Solidback, intrigued by your light set up. In the event of an off, you're going to damage the FF50's not the De's that you are protecting, unless you write off the entire bike:confused:

You're right, the FF50's will probably get mangled first, but I prefer the DE's on top of the light bar, and until Les or someone else starts making protectors for the FF50's I'm going to have to try not to throw it up the road :thumb

I put them on for looks more than protection in any case, the furthest it will get off road is up the drive to my garage.

If the DE's have been fitted and you then add the s/s covers on later the o/e bolts with the lights are self tappers and have cut a thread, not been able to match them with s/s ones, all DE's I sell with covers I tap them and send out with all s/s bolts.

If you only hold the dome head with the allen key and turn the nylock you should never get a probelm.

:D

DE's are cheap enough any way. :thumb2

Picture of the covers with supplied DE's so the thread is tapped out and all s/s nuts can be supplied, lots of DE's in stock and FF50 spots :thumb
