As a short arse i could not get out of the turbulence with the stock item ( i don't mind wind) so for the 60 quid i took the plunge and bought a Puig touring in dark smoke.

The Puig is a bit taller and more sculpted and although not quite as good looking as the stock does a much better job. 3 figure speeds with the visor up are no problems.

Photos will be forthcoming tomorrow

Thank you Sir :thumb
Although I don't find the standard screen too bad I want to change for a dark tint anyway
That looks like it might fit the bill

The puig is a bloody sight cheaper than the BMW dark screen ( which i now have spare )

I know !
I'd originally ordered the bike with the tinted screen @ €260 & then I saw what aftermarket ones were selling for so I cancelled it
But then I ordered the Nav5 so it didn't exactly work as a cost cutting exercise :blast

Redrick, can you post some pics of the screen from other angles please. I'm thinking about a slightly bigger screen for mine. I ordered the Wunderlich touring but its huge and has gone back.

Had one of these on my GS in light tint and found myself looking through the screen a lot. DarK tint on the XR maybe too dark for me - how do you get on with it?
