for being stupid and not leaving things alone
Finally got mapsource sorted and CN9 working but seeing as my c drive was getting a bit full thought I`d move to e drive. I AM A DICK HEAD cos now it doesn`t bloody work I`ve tried removing it, re installing it, doing a system restore but for some reason it`s not working. I need this programme and it`s wasting my life pissing about trying to fix it

Why didn`t I just leave it alone when it was working?

Shite Not only have I paid the £60 for the unlock code I can`t bloody use it. CN9 seems to install ok it`s just CN6 that won`t and it needs it as a base
There is a bit of mapsource left on the "add/remove" programmes thats 1.38 mb but when I try and remove it the install wizard comes up with this-
c:\program files\installshield installation information\{5e3cfca6-c95a-47cb-a822-7fa80d423af2} and says I need to insert disk 1 that contains the file data2.cab No disk I have seems to have that

Any ideas? I`ll try and put myself through it again if more info is needed.

I`ve come to a brick wall now, the next step is giving it to a shop to sort which I don`t really want to do

Get hold of a copy of MapSetToolKit - V1.50
It will find all your installed maps and you can tell it where others are installed and it will then generate the reg file entries for you.

If you cant find it, send me a pm and I will give you FTP access to mine.

Thanks for that info John but I and my mate have wasted far too much time on this now and it`s going to see the nerds in the morning
