I feel I should be packing a tubeless tyre puncture repair kit on my GS, just in case. Does anybody have any recommendations as to which kit to go for?
Thanks,
Jim

Stopngo.
Easy to use but do a few dry runs at home on how to do it cos you want to be on form when you DO need it in the dark and wet (hence the LEDs on the skip of the Arai that folk take the Mick about...).
Also have an inflator using CO2 cartridges off eBay. Check out the CO2 cartridges, some have larger capacities than the 'sparklet' ones.
Good thread this. After reading these posts I've just this minute ordered a Stop n Go. I've been carrying around a 7 year old repair kit from the old days when BMW ''used'' to ''Supply'' them (an' a coupla tools) with your bike.
Hey, thanks for all the replies. I do link the look of the Stop n Go kit. It looks like even an idiot like me might be able to cope. I hear what you're all asying about the compressor too.
Hi Russell, where did you order your Stop n Go kit from. I followed the link to Busters but there's no price and no way of ordering online?!
Currently unavailable at Amazon UK as well! Have you lot bought 'em all up!
Cheers,
Jim
small tin of Vaseline
I've been thinking about getting stop n go for a while now.
Question if I may. I've got a little compressor, once you have fixed the puncture with the stop n go mushroom does the compressor have enough to seat the tyre and get air into it? Or do you need the rapid flow of air from a CO2 bottle just to get some air in, then use the compressor to get it back to normal pressure?
Is Vaseline a good idea as it is petroleum based and can attack certain rubber, as daft as it sounds ky-jelly may be a better option and is water soluble
