Am after a decent puncture (tubeless) repair kit for GSA, and a source of the repair consumables - plugs, glue etc. I don't need the gas cylinders as have a compressor.

All the ones I've seen are a complete kit, with gas cylinders and haven't been able to find a source of the plugs & glue etc. Don't want to have to keep buying complete kits...

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Why not a complete kit:confused: You might need it on the road, BMW have a good set, I'ved used it while living abroad (India) works well, easy to use:thumb2. At home you just use the plugs and glue, and on the road you have the rest (incl. the gascylinders):) Good luck

Svena - Complete kit not needed as I will carry a compressor. The CO2 gas cylinders are therefore superfluous and extra bulk / weight.

I think I just found a good solution, the Stop and go pocket tyre plugger. It seems this has good reviews on this site, and doesn't use cement. Instead it relies on the air pressure and makes perfect sense to me. I found a natty demo video here.

IMHO The official BWM/REMA TipTop kit could be better.

The first time I used mine in anger, the 'eye of the needle' part of the tool snapped off as I tried to insert the tool deep enough to get to the knurled reaming collar, rendering it useless.

I went out and bought a cheap kit with two tools (one reaming and one inserting) which worked much better. The rubber plugs were easier to use too.

Pukmeister - Are you referring to the Stop and Go puncture repair thing that failed?

As Canuck says Slimbo's your man. Try www.bikestopperz.com, which he runs.

The puncture kit he sells has an inserter for the plugs, which stretches them before you put them into the tyre. Much better than the standard BMW item. The plugs are the same as the BMW ones.
