Any recommendations please for a good puncture repair kit to keep on the bike? I have a 12v compressor and a cheap eBay mushroom kit that's a bit crap.

I used to carry the Krafty Plugger kit, but they've all gone off now and formed into a rubbery mess!

Thanks folks.

I’ve got and have used this type. It’s the same as the BMW one though I had it before I owned the first tractor.

I have been carrying a Stop n Go kit (and a 12v mini compressor) for a few years. Last week I used it for the first time.
It worked!
As such I would def recommend Stop n Go

i got a sticky strips one from Amazon, a generic make. Used it a few times and it's been great in fixing punctures.

i carry a few gas canisters to refill the tyre, a hand pump & pressure gauge too.

I have used a stop and go, took two goes, but worked. Wasn’t confident, took the bike in and had it repaired properly, but it got me mobile. The puncture was caused by a bastard roofing nail.

I have the kit, and have added a sticky string kit, and have a compressor for trips. Dont carry them locally.

I carry Dyna plug and Rocky Creek sticky strings which are both very compact and work well. Dyna plug for smaller holes and sticky strings for bigger stuff. Oh ye Rocky Creek compressor and old fasioned stick pressure gauge.

To be fair he does do on to knock a few products. Whether or not it’s valid is another question.

Used Stop & Go when I had a puncture in France back in June.
Purchased a Chinese version for under £11 from AliExpress. Identical, just does not come with a carry pouch. Not an issue for me as I just stuffed it all into my Kriega tool roll.

Funny enough, was out riding today with a buddy. 20 miles in says he has a puncture on his rear, 1200R. He didn't have a repair kit. I used 1 rats tail sticky string thingy and 3 cannisters of air. Got his tyre plugged and up to 1.1bar. Enough to get to a garage and put pressure to correct. rode the 20 miles back and all still inflated to correct pressure. Oh and the tyre had a cm long slit in the middle. We both doubted a rat's tail would work. I didn't even have to ream out a hole it was that easy. So I am happy to say this is the type of kit I carry and know it works.

About a month ago heading home from Ireland on the A96 I ran across some debris that was spread across the road ,turns out it was strips of paslode nails, I got 2 punctures and not to be outdone my buddy got 2 as well.
I had a kit bought of ebay with 5 sticky rats tails, and 6 air bottles, did my repair at side of road , 2 bottles of air got enough air to ride 6 miles to a service station, did my mates repair there, £1 in the airline and we were good to go. Ive refilled my kit with rats tails and a new tube of glue.
I also carry a tin of radweld, better to have and not need etc.

That's the exact same kit I carry. Not had to use it yet but gives me confidence if I ever do have to. I have one of these to go with it.
