In prep for the Morroco tour I believe I might need one of these kits. When I bought the bike from Clarks BMW back in September it didn't come with one - so I've no idea what to buy. Can I pop into any dealers for one or can they be bought on fleebay?

Pop into your bmw dealer and try to blag a free one, it should be part of the standard tool kit. They are only £15ish if blagging doesn't work. Worth it though, I had two punctures recently, and the kit worked first time both times and the plugs stayed in the tyres until I got some new ones. Handy tip: Use the plastic cover on the little cylinders when filling the tyre otherwise, like me, you'll end up with it frozen to your hand which hurts a bit :D

failing that Hein-gericke sell them too.......

Get the 'Tyreplugger' kit, it's an American import. Fantastic piece of kit, pushes a mushroom headed plug through the hole to give a permanent and safe repair. I never leave the country without it. :thumb

Feck me 30 quid for a stapler and some bits of rubber?

Guess i've no choice - seems better then BMW's approach.

OK so save 15 quid and have a temporary repair, and perhaps 3000 miles to go with the BMW kit  :nenau

Bought one of these after doing 3000 miles on a tyre repaired with one.........
