Had bike out 2 day getting it all cleaned up for the Wirral egg-run and found a 2" screw burried in the rear tyre. :blast Pulled it out and down it went. looked in tool-box and havnt got a socket to fit. Anybody know what size socket it is as off to get one 2 morro.
Am I better getting a socket or will a allen key type bar do as dont think I will get the torque setting with the later, also dont think it will fit in as nuts are recessed.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks Wapping got a set of sockets from halfords, £20. Just the job. Puncture repaired and back on road. :beerjug:

I know you're sorted now, but did you really need to take the wheel off to repair a puncture? :nenau I'm not being funny, but why not use a Puncture Repair Kit with the wheel still on the bike?

Know what you mean Taff but gives me a good excuse to the wife to put some nice new shiney sockets in the tool-box.
Will invest in one now though :thumb
