Wanderer Registered user Joined Dec 6, 2004 Messages 1,549 Reaction score 0 Location Wandering Jun 25, 2008 #2 From memory you'll need a 17mm socket and a T55 torx (as you also need to move the brake caliper).

Ours are both 2001 bikes, maybe later bikes use Torx? Rear wheel bolts torque to 105nm, Rear caliper bolts torque to 40nm (on ours anyway).

Your bike may have been the happy recipient of a Steptoe Stainless fasteners kit - mine has (most of it) and the torx were replaced with standard 8mm allen heads as part of that.
