now registered in UK, with " miles speedo fascia fitted "
LCD screen reading 27 odd k kilometers = 17k miles.

question.......

would the mile mph speedo work at the correct rate, with the new miles facia fitted and could you get LCD screen changed to read miles at a BMW dealer via putter

I recently purchased a GS911 diagnostic tool for my R1200 and subscribe to their Google forum..

I have seen threads/discussions on there about using the tool to change KM to MPH and vice-versa etc for some models..

So I would guess that the answer to your question would be ...

At the moment the new clock dials are in mph but LCD in showing KMH.
Would the speedo be reading the correct speed though.....
IE 30 MPH BE 30 MPH as shown on speedo.
by just changing the fascia frOm KMH to MPH

The dealer can change any of the digital stuff to miles or to kilometers. My GS was imported from the UK, and I had them change everything to kilometers/litres.
