I'm sure a few of you have done it - what did you get for your old bike?

I'm considering chopping in my late 2013 GS TE with 6k on the clock for a new GSA TE, and I'm after a rough idea of what I'll get for it.

Anyone happy to share what they got for theirs?

Hope you didn't expect an informed answer to your reasonable question here. This is the oilheads and TC owners forum despite what it may say on your screen.

I thought my answer was reasonable as it was based on fact.

£5250 is what a mate of mine has been quoted to change his 13my GS TE for a 15my TE Spec GSA

The OP may get a better (or worse) deal but there is no doubt in my mind that the RT recall loan bikes currently coming back in to the market place is having an adverse affect on the value of used WC GS's

The old "what is my bike worth" question is the wrong one to ask especially if you are only considering part exchanging it in

If when you say late 2013 if around nov ! I'd recon your trade in will be around £10k

Hi, I just had a quote for a new 2015 GS WC (not GSA) with Keyless go, Quick shift pro.. £4400 to swap.
Mines priced at £11k Px with the other bike at list, mines done 7.5k miles & is just about 1 yr old to the day, it's first of the 14yr models & it's got the Qs pro fitted by the dealer & both the new & the trade in has the wire wheel option..

I'm not sure if I'll trade yet, as I'm enjoying the bike so much I'm not sure I want the heavier flywheel option..
I also would like the GSA sometime in the future..

My GS TE was a year old and 6k when I chopped it in for the GSA in March, and iirc it was about £4500 to change which included custom paint and the dealer-fit quickshifter.
