Got and fitted the Pyramid hugger from Nippy Normans a couple of weeks ago and so far very pleased with it.
Only issue was after the first test run the very front section of the hugger was just rubbing on the bottom of the plastic shield that goes around the shock.
Trimming about 4 to 5mm off the bottom of the plastic shield seems to have sorted the problem. This may be just a problem with the extra supspension travel of the 1200 Adveture but worth checking if you have a standard 1200GS as well.
The hugger itself does the job and stops the back of my boots getting wet from the spray that get thrown forward by the back wheel.
Looks good as well IMHO
