I have a German friend who is coming to the UK in May 2025 and wants to ride in Ireland.

The current plan is to take the ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare (not fixed), then do some "great" riding in southern Ireland over 3 - 4 days heading south and west, ending up in Larne, where a party is being held for friends.

Does anyone have any good suggestions I can consider while the rest of the family is in food comas these next few weeks?

TIA

I have copied the opening post into the Irish sub-section, in case anyone has some additional or different ideas.

Wild Atlantic way is a good one. Its the west coast road

Heading south and west will be the wrong direction for Larne. However.....

From Rosslare head for Waterford for coffee then towards Tramore. From Tramore follow the Copper Coast road to Dungarvan. Dungarvan to Cork and then head to Kinsale and Clonakilty via Timoleague and pick up the Wild Atlantic Way and you can't go wrong.

ABR has a few route suggestions . I’ve added some attachments of other places we’ve been recommended.

R586 from Sneem to Molls gap, then follow the main road down to Killarney.
