Fitted my quad lock wireless charger to the bike. 2014 LC.

And it works fine when you start the bike. But powers down shortly after starting and riding off and the phone stops charging.

Is there some setting or something I need to look at? I'm plugged into the RH port on the dash.

I don't have the same problem with the cable plugged into the bike directly, charges all day.

Thanks.

Should have expected nothing less from you.

I had something similar with an aftermarket usb socket which turned on again if I unplugged it and plugged it back in again. Either the canbus doesn’t see the charger and so stops sending power or the device or the unit doesn’t realise it’s being used and goes to sleep, I’m not sure which.

Most likely the wireless charger is drawing too much and the circuit is shutting down then resets when it's unplugged.

Seems that way

Genuine Quadlock lead and BMW din plug. your bike has the din socket and not the usb socket as the later ones, so is your lead or din socket a cheap knock off or original parts?

I’m having the same issue on a Harley. It works perfectly well when attached to a remote 12v battery but hook the charger up to a (even running) bike and it won’t work. On the bike I had it hooked up to the live on ignition feed the previous owner has fitted, which, when tested show the same as the battery (12.5 v or above). I am at a loss as I am using genuine Quadlock leads etc. but I can live without having a bike mounted phone charger so a 1st world problem at best.

I've tried the USB Quadlock wireless charger on a 1200GSA, a C400X and a Tenere 700. It didn't work on any of them, it would light up then turn off, It doesn't get enough power to work. I now have the 12 wired version of the wireless charger, directly wired to the battery with a switch and it works fine.

Numerous Quadlock here.
No issues on any of them either with their original SAE to usb converter they used to supply with them, head to single GS usb, head to twin NN usb and now the 12V versions into the sat nav power supply.
That’s on a 2016, 2019 and the 2x 2021’s we currently have.
Also have them on a 701 and 2x 500 EXC-f as usb versions and work fine.

Used mine on KTM, GS and 2xR nine T with no issues, but always used original leads and Din plugs.

Mine flashes then switches off when I first start the bike. I switch it on again using the power button on the bottom of the charging head.

Just "found" the power button! 😊

(Didn't even realise it had one, Lol.)

Thanks.
