Query 2. Insurance on frame.

As an expat working overseas, my time in the UK is limited to 2 months a year in 3 trips of 3 weeks.
Just been on the phone to Carole Nash about getting insurance so I can get the imported 1150GSA MOT'd, taxed and apply for a logbook/plate.
They will only insure it on the frame if I get a years insurance and have it registered within 30 days which for me is impossible as leaving on Aug 12.
And as my time here is limited, won't insure me anyway.

I just want the chance to do a bit of riding when I can when home.

Anybody know of an alternative insurance agent to insure the bike ONLY through the frame number for 1-2 months so I can get the paperwork sorted with the DVLA Swansea?

Bikes been standing for a few years in the garage and if I am unsuccessful, will end up standing for another 5 years before retirement.

Barry, Was on the phone today and spoke to someone else.
All seems well albeit cost a bit steep for 3rd Party at £164yr. But, I have not had bike insurance in the UK for 20years and no doubt more people fall off nowadays or hav'em stolen.

Will get back to you before December (when back home) when the bike has been serviced and MOT'd and I can send all the relevant info required to Swansea for the V55/5.
