Hi, Can anyone help?
I have an 1150gs, servo brakes.
The rear brake seems to get unusually hot in comparison to the fronts.
I have done all the usual things, clean the caliper, make sure the pistons are free, grease up the slider, check free play at the pedal, ensure the brake is not dragging, etc etc.
I cannot find any problems but it still gets hot (too hot to touch after a short run).
No, I'm not riding the rear brake with my size 12's, in fact yesterday I made a point of not using the rear pedal at all (yes I know the servo activates the rear when I use the front) but I just wondered if it would make any difference, it didn't.
Have I missed something? is this normal? can anyone advise?
many thanks
