Not sure of the most appropriate place to post this question but this'll do for now.

On the back of some Hein Gericke Tuarag jackets there is a short horizontal half zip sewn onto the centre bottom of the jacket well above the bum compartment zip. which looks like it should fit either a detachable bum bag or perhaps a specially designed map pocket for a pillion to use?

This post/thread :

has photos taken by Septimus and includes a pic of the rear of the jacket. The zip can be seen as the black line in the centre patch of the back.

In this particular jacket there is also a second such zip underneath the detachable flap on the back.

Ah yes. The question? Wtf is it supposed to do?:nenau

this??

Yup!

Absolutely....:thumb

Thanks Tuned In

(Must look up how you do that sometime!)

That jacket lets you unzip and roll down the back seciton of the jacket. The flap is tucked into the jacket - behind the pocket at the bottom and then you zip the exposed zip on the back to the flap that appears.

Not very well explained!
