yep, decided to say "sod it" to the looming rain clouds and took a nice ride up to devils bridge. the ride started with extrememly strong winds on the motorway so got onto the A59 as quickly as possible, then kicked back and relaxed enjoying the ride. not been up here for a few years so forgot about all the double white lines  but it didn't bother me. enjoyed the sedate ride for a change. missed all the rain clouds and was rewarded with glorious sunshine when i finally arrived.

Good stuff Kirk and great pics!!!

I went earlier this week (Thursday) during the heatwave and when I got there a biker was taking a swim in his full leathers! :clap

going to have a ride there next week again some time, got a few more lanes marked out this time :thumb2

Never been there looks good,

Done google and found somewhere mid wales (nowhere near A59) :blast

where is it ?

fella if you off any days during the week let me know as i plan to go up there agin, then onto windemere as it is only a few miles from there :thumb2
always up for a ride out during week as thats when i get a couple of days off

will do, found it on the map now thanks to John, looks like a good ride out.

How much notice do you need Kirk ? I'm south Manchester (nr Airport) is that close to you?

The A roads in the area tend to attract the humpbed back knee slider type of rider. Some really nice lanes in the area, just go for the "B" roads and lesser. A nice little lane with grass in the middle leads off from the road on the opposite side to the bridge.

I "Favourited" it on my TomTom when I got there :-
