Quick check for OP light?

The oil pressure light she no worky! Before I dismantle the headlight cowl on the 100GS, is there a quick check such as earthing the lead to the OP switch in the block? Only asking is all. :D
 
Ta Jay. So the bulb is ok. It's just not illuminating via the normal ignition on circuit. Does that mean it has to be the op sensor? What saith the airhead sages?
 
Yup The Oil pressure sensors are wee delicate things these days

Not at all like the butch boyo's of the past

If the bulb lights when you ground it with ign on then the circuit is live

and it falls to the crappy sensors of today to be the fault
