There must be a cable running up to the mount to supply the power...so not completely unobtrusive.....:nenau

yep theres a twin cable that runs from under the front of the tank up to the clamp. ideal if you have a tank cover cos you'll never see the cable, its a better option than the naff range that baglux sell

So there's a live supply on a naked pin, just on the fuel filler?

Hmmmm.......

Am I the only one who sees a potential problem with this????? :augie

Takes a lot more than a few sparks to light up petrol Bill. (and earlier posts have answered that risk)

few weeks ago two blokes on TV tried for ages to blow up a toilet full of petrol (dont ask) by lobbing lighted ciggies into it (remotely  ) - it was very difficult to do.

Speedo,
There is the Engage XL, the engage, or the daypack 2..... which is the medium?? Thanks

Just go to twisted throttle in the USA......I get my stuff there at half the price it is here. They have had all the powered adaptors and bags out for ages, at least a year.

funny you should say that, i normally prefer to buy stateside as its always cheaper and maybe a week for delivery is no problem, but on this occasion i found the kit i wanted on the site but theylet me pay and only when i called up to ask for the delivery time they then told me 2-3 weeks.... not good practice to take my money without telling me of the long wait dont you think?

Ive got the daypack 2 and find its just the right size for for my needs ie camera /cigs /drinks/spare gloves/ipod/radio etc and i haven't even needed to use the expandable bit as yet .And no interference with the crossbar :thumb

On a side question, can I just ask.

What is the theretical maximum you can draw from a R1150GS Adv without blowing things up. I have made a similar system to this bag. Its just a extension lead into a Baglux tank bag with all my bits and bobs rammed in there. Im gonna have a battery charger, camcorder charger x2, camera charger, lamp charger, phone charger, and possibly more.

Its not all gonna be charged simulantiosly however I wanna know im not gonna pop my GS!!! :nenau

Incidentally most of this will be ran through a 70 watt power inverter giving me a 240v power point in the tank bag.

TIA!!!

the ZC

i manages with a baglux and a lead to a power socket fitted on the beak, to a tank bag that holds my phone, radio, intaride rp1 and amplirider, the mp3 is done through a zumo with 4gb card, comes off in seconds :aidan

:blast I forgot, its just to cheap, I didnt spend enough on it.

:D

Got the Engage and very impressed, I had to set mine quite far back on the tank so it cleared the crossbrace but it works well. Fitted a small lead and socket that attaches to my charger lead that sits next to the headstock. Only plug it in when it's needed so invisible when it's not:D

I ordered several of these bags to use as demonstrators for our mobile DVRs several weeks ago only to be told by Motohaus that they still cannot give me a delivery date as they are awaiting stock. It looks like a good system if you can get hold of one.
