£800 all in.???..it's a big job (labour wise anyway)
If you do go ahead, get them to change all the clutch parts...the extra £50 coould save another £800 further down the line when the plate goes etc.
PS for that sort of money Dave, isn't it worth a day's trip up to Steptoe???

I bet the difference 'tween Ocean's prices and Steptoe's would easily leave change even after the hire of a van, a tank of fuel and a day out in sunny London

Do you mean the thrust bearing ?. It's possible to replace it without removing the gearbox. Couple hours labour and the part
