R 1300 GS leaning too much on the side stand?

Interesting product, which appears to be from an e- commerce / dropshipping style company.

The website address appears to be a residential address in Lisbon.

Google searches show the same product / photo's being used by other company's , but when you click the link, you end up elsewhere, mostly with a different style product , and not the one in question

All i would say is Caveat Emptor

Fiscal address. Very common practise in Portugal. No e-commerce. We’ve got a warehouse where we machine the parts. And a Google Search traces back to Lexiir Parts. Please don’t spread things that are not true online, as we do everything ourselves.

A few forums are not receptive to foreign members, since it stated UK, to avoid being prevented from making an account. I’ll update that, if it’s alright. Apologies if it came out in a bad way.

just looked up the old thread on the side stand issue and it seem Lexiir was already given a plug by another Luis.....from Queens....

Yes. That was me and forgot I had made that account, otherwise wouldn’t* have created this one. Same reason with the address. You’re coming out as a very unpleasant person, just trying to entrap me in some way and acting in bad faith while I simply alerted you towards what you purchased and to be careful using plastic supporting 257kgs. I’m sorry you paid a high price for it but that’s not my fault. I’ve tried to reason with you multiple times, you’ve never addressed the positive aspects I mentioned and my attempts to level with you however you’re the first one here to dislike every post or comment I make, while supporting similar ones. For someone speaking about “wrong approaches” you’re not putting your words in to actions.

I tried to reason with you, but you're just being mean....
...You’re coming out as a very unpleasant person...
Grant is neither mean or unpleasant, quite the opposite.

You asked for feedback so please don't get upset if the feedback you get is not what you want to hear.... everyone is entitled to have an opinion.

Is this side stand lean only a problem on 1300s without adaptive ride height?.
Mine has ARH & never found the lean a particular problem.
All other bikes I've had over many years you always have to be careful where you choose to park and don't park with the left of the bike on a downward slope.

Do BMW fit different length side stands to 1300s with & without ARH ?.

Luis Alemeida - For someone that joined this forum only Thursday you have managed to make quite an impression. I appreciate that you are trying to sell your product but in your first post to me you insinuated that the product made by Miguel was made from inferior quality parts. . You then ask for people to give you feedback, but then feel it necessary to criticise anyone who says something less than praising.
I find this a very arrogant approach for someone who is only here to push his product and really damages the whole idea behind your original post. I don't get irritated easily but it seems you are even now beginning to irritate others with this approach.
Good luck with your further sales but for one I will NOT be promoting your product to any of my friends who have 1300´s.

I have the ASA and even in the lowered or “parked” position the lean is still substantial. This product above or the one offered by Miguel Paixoe or any other side stand raiser should do the trick. Important when choosing to make sure that the issue of the stand knocking against the subframe due to its larger size of the new foot is taken care of.

I didn’t insinuate I simply stated the materials and sources as you had made a comparison between both. Also I didn’t ask for feedback anywhere. Of course I’m very glad to receive it as long as it’s fair and constructive, and as you can read above I made sure to address every mentioned aspect by the given replies. But one thing is feedback and another is grudge, and laughing from my answers and thumbing down everything I say and not being reasonable and also not addressing the positive aspect of the replies I provided you but only the negative for me is not feedback. I’m I also entitled to an opinion? Or do you just want me to reply thank you for your feedback to every comment you made. I’m not criticising anyone, I’m stating you have been having a very unpleasant atitude towards everything I replied. I don’t say you’re unpleasant as person, I’m pretty sure you can be a nice person, but not what I experienced.

Luis
You joined a forum recently, to plug your product.
You appear upset that someone asks questions when things didn’t seem to add up ( two different accounts, altered locations)
And so people are quite rightly asking questions as they do not wish to be scammed.

So far, all you have done is to alienate a long standing member of the forum. I doubt you will get many sales on here, as there is nothing I can see to recommend your product against others already on the market.
Premium prices should only be on premium products.

You might take some feedback as negative, but it’s just an honest view by people who know these bmw bikes well. If all feedback is positive, nothing gets updated/improved.

Good luck

Never found mine to be a problem, which is why I wondered if they fitted different lengths stands.
