OK I accept this is a long shot. Does anyone have one of these lying around, or know where there might be one.......I am a desperate man!

Thanks
Colin

The PD doesn't have side panels. The exhaust heat shield I'd a pressed steel cover that attaches to the exhaust.

Thanks,

C

I need one too! I've spoken with Gary at BaMW and he has no plans to have these remade due to the high cost of tooling for pressed steel items. To my mind though it could be possible to have a mould made from an original and have some made out of a heat resistant 'plastic' or perhaps fibreglass. Any thoughts?

Paul

Does your exhaust have the three holes needed along the side to mount the screw on brackets?

The R80St uses the same cover, but new replacement exhausts don't seem to have the required holes for fitting.

I think Siebenrock are now making the exhaust with the bolt holes. I wondered if they would then make the heat shield to fit, why else would you include the heat shield fixing points. I have been to Gary's and he has both new and old ones but won't part with them, as he needs them for his projects. They are quite a complicated pressing. I like the idea of making a mould and manufacturing in plastic.
