R/H Cylinder Failure

Good news just got my GS1200 back from repair. R/H cylinder exhaust valves replaced, was lucky no damage to cylinder bore/piston etc.
many thanks to friend who did me a favour, no need to take second mortgage for BMW.

What were the symptoms?

Could you tell it was gonna happen eg gradual loss of performance?

Hi, afraid there was no indication of power loss or any prior warning of sudden engine failure! The repaired bike feels and rides perfectly just like before the incident, just hope the new valves are up to it. Thanks for your interest.
