R100gs 1994 warning light Bulbs

I've just been looking for 12v 3w capless bulbs as the Haynes manual states for the instrument warning lights. I found a place in France £12 ea so kept on looking and but I keep coming up with 12v 2.3w bulbs now I know the alternator warning light is used to initiate the charging system so I just wanted to find out what others have used. The only reason I want to change them is due to the difficulty getting to them and I have the instrument assembly apart at the moment.

I bought mine in Halfords.



Since then I bought a Katdash led replacement board.

t5 wedge base bulb 12v 3w in amazon and pages and pages of the damn things, think I paid £4 for 10 led ones

I also went with the katdash replacement…… plug an£ play, and no more bulbs blowing.

Me too - katdash - gives you a stock of spare charging circuit bulbs, too!
