R100GS lowered footpegs. UK supplier?

I ended up with Migsel rests Alastair. They're not the solution if you want the ideal but were the best I could find off the shelf.
Cheers. Did you buy direct from them?
And original brake and gear lever work (with adjustment I assume)?
3 cm lower I think?

Yes. Not perfect but pretty much fit and forget. If I could have obtained something better, I'd have done so but accessories for old airheads seem thin on the ground these days.

You can try mine out sometime if you like?

Thanks, maybe a coffee sometime when the sun is shining. I had my fill of very wet coming home on Friday!

FWIW I inherited a set of R100GS pegs that had been lowered by the PO (of the pegs). A hacksaw and a welder had been used. They are lowered to be level with the mounting so you can keep your feet close to the frame (the mounting forms part of the peg - most lowered pegs are wide because of the mounting which makes the pedals (brake/gear) awkward to operate without further modification. All IMHO.

This kit seems to fit almost every pre-LC GS ever made. I have a set on my twin-cam R1200GS. Where Motorworks says they're extra-wide they're correct. They stick out a long way as a consequence of the height adjustment which makes finding the gear pedal fiddly and the brake pedal (which I rarely use) even worse.
Got a set of the SW Motech ones (listed fot the pre LC r1200gs) on a - mostly - roadgoing r100gs. Use them with the rubber inserts so no vibes. Perfect ergonomics for me on their lower setting. They do stick out quite a bit but I have no issues with gear or brake pedals. I have the SWT enduro ones on a more offroady bike. Smaller and sit higher and closer to the frame, necessitating adjustment of both levers. WIll probably get a lower set at some point

How much lower than the standard are the pre LC pegs?

They are level with the mounting bracket when set to low. Pic shows (MK2?) Pivot Pegz on the bike - the same sort of level as the Motech ones. The Motech are in the foreground, with the detachable rubbers & pegs on the lower setting - you can see the alternative mounting hole.

Just a word to the wise, I don’t think Motobau are trading anymore. I have a friend in Germany who ordered a set for me, paid for them in June via PayPal and never received them, they don’t answer phones or emails either.
