R100GSPD Side Stand advice

Recently bought a 95 R100GSPD and would like to improve the side stand, the angle is too great despite a thick plastic plate on bottom of side stand, would appreciate advice. Regards Robert.

i tried everything i could think of to improve the stand on my PD, including shimming the pivot and reshaping the stop, and foot, with weld. made little difference. the inescapable fact is, BMW put it in the wrong place

now got a migstand on my current airhead, and it's a revelation.

Thanks for the reply, no Migstands left, he will be making more next winter, is there anyone selling a Migstand?
