Hi,
I'm fitting an R100RS fairing to my '78 R80/7. With the straight RS handlebars, it seems the top fork nuts are a bit too high to allow full adjustment possibilities. The fork top nuts on my R80 are similar to the /6 type; with the domed chrome top that you use the peg spanner to fasten. Am I right assuming that the RS fork top nuts are a straight swap?
Also, it looks like my R80/7 instrument carrier bracket is lower than the one used for the RS (possibly also the RT?). Can these brackets also be exchanged easily?
