R100s airliner

Just missed out on one of these rare beasts. Anyone on here get it ? Was on eBay tonight . It had been standing for over 10 years but it was very original all be it neglected . Ie a bit of green moss on it.
It was a 1980 bike ,I think all were with 25,000 miles ,panniers , ate brakes Crome pannier frames, original paintwork.

A bit gutted I didn't get it as it sold for the same price I offered

You'd have only chopped it up so probably for the best really

ooh weren't that bad was it possibly a money pit but wort horsy of a decent rebuild............ Probably best I didn't win it

I did see that one several places , there seams to be a dispute on how many there were made. Some say 120 others up to 400. Either way a very nice looking bike

The airheads from that era where all stuck to the showroom floors Just about every one is a special of some sorts. More often than not its just a spray job.
