R1100/1150GS Injector upgrade from the US - group buy interest?

If you were to buy these direct yourself the 1100 kit would end up approx £219 and the 1150 kit £198.

We need to get to 10 definites before I place the order and if we haven't reached it (or very close) by a week today then we will draw a line under it.

I can't believe folks' are leaving you out of pocket on this. Thats just bad form.

cheers phil, but no one else to blame and it didn't end up much, so irrelevant. folk paid what i asked and those that saw the request for the extra for vat paid it. i wouldnt be doing it again if i wasn't happy to

Not living in the UK I didn't put my name down for the group buy but I ordered a set a couple of weeks ago based on what I had read in this thread.
They arrived last week and today I put them in. The whole changeover job took about twenty minutes.
Results - :clap:clap:clap:thumb:thumb2
It starts much easier and idles more smoothly. It has made a VERY significant difference to the way the engine runs. It is much smoother, particularly at lower revs. Mine being a 99 model and single spark it's not the best at low revs. I had become used to the lurchiness when slowing down at traffic lights etc. NOW, its much much better - it feels like a different bike.

Got mine fitted on Friday. Yesterday I got out for a little detour which was roughly 100-120 miles of A-roads.

My GS is an 05 twin spark and it was running well. It's a good apple. Performs well. I did do a TB balance before hand.

New injectors have however made things very smooth. The motor seems like it's had the best tuning it could possibly have. Roll-on acceleration picks up quicker, feels stronger. At the low end, in traffic, I've noticed that when the throttle is shut, it's a little smoother too . Overall, I'd have to sum up with a smile on my face .

I haven't forgotten Roger's comments that a lot could be down to slightly higher fuel delivery that might get trimmed out by the Motronic after a few tanks. So I'll have to see. But right now, it's looking good. I didn't think I'd notice so much

Oh. Idle is now super smooth. It's purring at a shade under 1000 RPM without so much as an interrupting blip. It didn't do that before, so if nothing else, new and balanced injectors can only be good.
