Need some advice if someone has come across this before, im planning to change out my front brake discs, they been on god knows how long and have a very ridgey surface which compared to my other bikes the disc is perfectly flat. Anyway they got some galfer replacements with bobbins and wave washers for £220 online. But before i order i just thought id check something these are 4.5mm thick discs but online some say original discs were 4.5 other site say its 5.0mm ive measured mine they are 5.0mm but the only difference i could see being the issue would be maybe the bobbin length but new ones come with the galfer discs so im assuming that would all be fine. Motorworks has some details regarding difference between 4.5 and 5.0 with regards to bobbins so thats why i though i would consult the hive minds haha. Cheers all
