R1100GS with digital speedometer?

i just wanna check if anyone has done any mod to the speedo from analog to digital. what is the best beside the touratech imo 300.??

I am in the middle of adapting a speed/camera detector GPS into a supplementary speedo for my F650GS, really don't like the small layout of the analogue speedo and find it difficult to read at night.

My idea is to just have a pair of 8 segment led displays, will only display to 99mph but if I am going that fast then a couple of mph either way wouldn't matter.

Honda used to do a digital speedo that fitted the GS. I'll be buggered if i can remember what model it came from as I gave mine to Tuned in. - Pointless tat

You could also try a Trailtech Vipor or Striker.

I had a Vipor on the 1150GSA.
