I have a very nice black R1150GS, well tidy. 2000, X-Reg, I can't let it go for less than £4800. 25000km approx 17k miles. I bought it for a Morocco trip, but have now decided to do Morocco on my R1150GS Adv so its surpluss to requirements.

The missus says :nono

Have up to £4K mate...Thanks anyway!

Fernando,

I started on an 1100 - up and down to Lahhhdahhhn most days and it was superb. The colour was a bit of an acquired taste though - sort of monkey-sick yellow. Dead reliable.

Had a brief fling with a K1200RS before coming back to an 1150. Easier on the motorway with 5th, just as easy to work on and service. Just as comfortable.

I really wouldn't worry which one you get - buy on condition. Either way - blinding good bike. Glad I decided to hang onto mine. If I sell one of my two it'll be the Pan before the GS now. :thumb

That's music to my ears!!! :clap

The plan is:

Buy the bike and go around Europe for 4 months, so we budget £4K for the bike, and that will allow us to do the 4 months, otherwise wont be that long on the road!!!And then we have to go back to Brasil (in November), and God knows when we'll make it to come back...

Cheers :thumb
