Just got an R1100RS. At £475, I couldn't resist.

It's all there, in averagely tatty condition, 60K miles, but with a knackered gearbox. I have the box out and it seems the input splines are knackered - clutch internal splines are all gone.



I'll open the box up in a few days, when I get time, but in the meantime I wonder if anybody has:
1) A known good box for reasonable money?
2) A good input shaft (box is an M94 - don't know yet whether it's one of the later "clean bearing" versions. Number is 0005800DAF)
3) Any helpful advice on rebuild (apart from "send it to Scriminger").
