I was going to look at it but my Missus has been off work for a couple of months and whilst it's one I have always wanted and in my price and right on my effing doorstep

Common sense has prevailed.

Christ that's a good deal. When I sold my 1100S the buyer got on it and within a week rode to Russia, many of the Stans, most of Europe and a few other places. Superbly capable and built at a time when bean counters didn't rule the roost. This could be all the bike anyone would ever need for serious touring, for the price of a set of luggage for a GS!
